Music At Christ Church

Christ Church has an exceptional music program led by dedicated professionals and lay people. Murray Kidd is our Music Director and Sylvia Berry is our new Organist.

The Junior Ringers (fifth grade and up) meet Sundays directly after morning service from 11:15am till 12:45.  There is time for the kids to run down for a quick refreshment and then to come back to start rehearsing.

The Senior Choir rehearses Wednesdays at 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm and is always open to new singers. This ensemble is made up of almost 30 dedicated singers who sing every Sunday in the morning service. The music ranges from gospel arrangements to classical anthems.  We have a fun time worshiping through music.

The Cherub Choir is for children ages 5-9.  Lisa Sparling leads this wonderful ensemble.  It meets Sundays directly after morning service from 11:15am till 12:45.

“5 by 5″ is an advanced hand bell quintet that rehearses weekly and performs frequently throughout the church year.

Solos and small ensembles. If you have experience with an instrument or love to sing, but can’t make the weekly rehearsal, please make your presence known to Murray Kidd.

Currently, the Morning Chimes, is in need of a more members. The ensemble meets weekly; day and time to be determined, but the group meets in the mid morning time and usually has refreshments and fellowship after each rehearsal. If you are interested, please contact Murray Kidd at (508-586-3022).

Choir Recruitment
Many people think (wrongly) that they “cannot” sing. There is nothing like standing amongst more experienced singers and finding your own voice. Everyone has their own voice and their own song to sing. Let us help you find your voice …

Our Church Organ
We are very lucky to have a state of the art Austin pipe organ. Organists come from far and near to play our organ and we are proud to feature it during our weekly services. Click Here for a full description of the organ.
