Christ Church has an exceptional music program led by dedicated professionals and lay people. Murray Kidd is our Music Director and Sylvia Berry is our Organist.

Adult Choir

Rehearses from 7:00 to 8:30 on Wednesdays and performs each Sunday throughout the liturgical season.  This ensemble consists of dedicated singers of various levels; from beginners to more advanced singers.  The music ranges from gospel to classical and everywhere in between.  We have fun in our pursuit of excellence and want you to join us!

Jr. Ringers

Jr. Ringers is a skilled ensemble of middle schoolers through high schoolers.  Most are involved in their music programs at school and enjoy working in a small ensemble of eager musicians.  The group meets from 11:15 to 11:45 after Sunday service and performs periodically throughout the year.

Youth Choir

This group performs periodically throughout the year and consists of those in grades 2 through 5.  Lisa Sparling leads this fun group of kids in Orff material and songs from the Western choral canon.  Occasionally, the group joins the Adult Choir and they raise the roof!  Youth Choir rehearses from 11:15 to 11:45 after Sunday service

Cherub Choir

This group is our ‘Littles’ and performs occasionally in a Sunday service.  It is made up of those in the Sunday school class that meets during the Sunday service.

Chancel Ringers

Chancel Ringers is a more advanced group of bell ringers that rehearses Sunday before church.  It performs periodically throughout the year.  If you have some experience with music, even if only a little, please talk to Murray Kidd, our Director of Music.

Covenant Ringers

This group meets during the week on Wednesday afternoons.  This fun group ranges from advanced musicians to beginners.  Carol Bradford Leads this group which performs periodically throughout the year.

Orchestra for All Ages

This intergenerational ensemble performs throughout the year for special occasions.  It rehearses in preparation of those events.  If you play an instrument and want to join in the fun during our worship services, please talk to Director of Music, Murray Kidd.

World Voices Youth Choir

World Voices is a youth choral and arts program that meets Wednesdays after school. It is open to grades 2 through 9. This is a community based ensemble that provides music, art, and multicultural leadership sessions to the participants.  There is also a winter intensive -now in its fifth year!- that meets during February vacation week from 9:00 to 4:00, Monday through Friday.
